Startup-Tec surface curing treatment utilizes the "PK 3-Day Startup Method" which provides for a nearly brushless, non-acid startup of a new pool. Startup=Tec eliminates 95% or more of the normal brushing associated with new pool startups. It also eliminates the 1 to 2 weeks of tedious brushing new pool owners are burdened with.
Startup-Tec not only reduces most plaster dust formation, but stops mottling discoloration and staining issues that often plague white, grey and colored finishes. The product virtually eliminates acid "hot startups" for all types of aggregates, finishes and "acid washing" process necessary to expose pebble type finishes.

Available Sizes:
• 64 oz. bottle

StartUp-Tec® provides total control and prevention of all metals and mineral scales during the new pool startup or newly replastered pool startup, conventional sequestering agents provide limited protection.

StartUp-Tec® significantly reduces the amount of surface brushing during startup, the conventional startup requires frequent brushing during the first 7 to 10 days or longer.

StartUp-Tec® significantly reduces the amount of pH / alklinity adjustment during the startup period, the conventional method requires frequent adjustment and/or acid washing.
